Our Mission

The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Our Vision

A world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

What We Do

  • We provide education and support for people in Oregon & SW Washington with diagnoses, their families, and caregivers. We provide information and resources, a 24/7 telephone help line, local support groups and educational programs.

  • We advocate at the state and federal levels for public policies that increase critical research funding and support all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementia.

The Alzheimer's Association is the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, committed to accelerating the global progress of new treatments, preventions and, ultimately, a cure.
