Adam Brickman, Ph. D.
Adam Brickman is Professor of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University. He is a neuropsychologist with expertise in neuroimaging, biomarkers, and cognition. His primary work focuses on understanding the vascular contributions to cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s disease in genetic, clinical, and community-based contexts. He is also interested understanding sources of racial and ethnic disparity in Alzheimer’ disease, developing interventions for cognitive aging, and designing instruments to assess cognition in older adults. Dr. Brickman is co-director of the Columbia Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and Associate Director of the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Aging Brain.
