    Benjamin Clark, Ph.D.

    Dr. Ben Clark, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Clark obtained his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge, and his Ph.D. in Psychology at Dartmouth College in which he studied the neurobiology of spatial orientation and memory. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Clark moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada for postdoctoral training at the Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience, where he first started conducting research on Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Clark’s current research is aimed at applying model systems of spatial orientation, memory, and neuropsychiatric symptoms to further understand neurobiological changes associated with Alzheimer’s disease and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
