    Eleanor Drummond, Ph.D.

    Eleanor Drummond is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and the Bluesand Principal Research Fellow in Alzheimer’s disease at the University of Sydney, Australia. She obtained her PhD from the University of Western Australia and completed her postdoctoral training at New York University. Her research focuses on understanding the fundamental causes of Alzheimer’s disease and primary tauopathies, with the long-term goal of identifying new drug targets and diagnostic biomarkers. She has received multiple awards for her research, including the Blas Frangione Early Career Achievement Award from the Alzheimer’s Association in 2021 and the Mid-Career Achievement Award from the Australian Dementia Network in 2024.
