Michal Schnaider Beeri, Ph.D.
Michal Schnaider Beeri, PhD, is the Director of the Herbert and Jacqueline Krieger Klein Alzheimer’s Research Center at Rutgers University and Professor of Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her research focuses on how metabolic disturbances, particularly type 2 diabetes, influence brain aging, cognitive decline, and the development of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She has led numerous epidemiological studies and clinical trials, authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, and has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Alzheimer’s Association.
