Thomas Brett, Ph.D.
Thomas Brett, PhD., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. He serves as the Co-Director of the Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Structural Biology PhD Program. His research program has focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that underlie inflammatory diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and Cystic Fibrosis, in order to develop targeted molecular therapies. Dr. Brett uses an array of structural, biophysical, and cellular techniques. His lab has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, Alzheimer’s Association, Bright Focus Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Rosenau Family Research Foundation, and others.
