Early Stage Programs
The Alzheimer's Association early stage programs offer an opportunity for individuals living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), early-stage dementia or those who are experiencing changes in memory to comfortably engage with and connect to others who are on a similar journey. Participating in a positive, supportive, and stimulating program may enhance personal well-being and may help individuals with these diagnoses to remain healthier longer.
You are not alone. There is help and support available. The Alzheimer’s Association stands ready to help you and your family as a trusted resource for ongoing information and support. Learn about our ongoing programs:

Healthy Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment Series
Co-sponsored with the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center
Healthy Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is a support and educational series for people with MCI and their families. Classes offer attendees support, guidance, and science-backed strategies for living and coping with a diagnosis of MCI. Dr. Nathaniel Chin, a memory clinic doctor with UW Heath, is medical director of the series. Participation is free.
“The Healthy Living Series came to be as we were searching for a way to connect and empower individuals who have MCI. Healthy living activities are key in keeping the brain as sharp as possible. This program helps people discover that they can continue to live well, in spite of MCI, and the topics we cover can play a huge role in how people navigate disease progression.”
- Dr. Nathaniel Chin
