    Gifts That Pay You Income

Many of our generous donors want to make a lasting difference in the fight against Alzheimer's and ensure they can care for their own needs and the needs of their family.

Some gifts allow you to support the Alzheimer's Association while providing steady, reliable payments to you or a loved one. These gifts can make a meaningful impact while creating financial benefits.

    • Charitable gift annuity (CGA) — You make a gift of cash, stock, bond, mutual funds to the Alzheimer's Association and, in return, you receive fixed payments for life. Later, the remainder of your gift supports our mission to help improve lives.
    • Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT) — You transfer assets to a trust that pays you a fixed amount each year for life or for a set term of years. When the trust ends, the remaining funds go to the Alzheimer's Association.
    • Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT) — Similar to a CRAT, but instead of fixed payments, you receive a set percentage of the trust's value recalculated annually. Payments may fluctuate over time. When the trust term ends, the remaining funds pass to the Association.
