Interlibrary loan

We're part of Ask a Librarian Illinois providing email and chat services to visitors who come to our website with questions about Alzheimer's disease. Our library policies are in QuestionPoint®. We follow up on chat questions that are referred to us.

OCLC and Docline are preferred for interlibrary loan. ALA forms and emails are accepted. The Library provides interlibrary loan materials to libraries within the state of Illinois free-of-charge. Out-of-state interlibrary loan requests are $10.00 per item.

Verify article citations or check our Online Catalog before requesting items. Our OCLC symbol is IA@. Our Docline symbol is ILULZH.

Contact us for related resources on writing circulation policies, overdue notices and sample question intake forms. Also request the resource center self-assesment checklist, marketing a small library and library automation software comparison template.
