This event is Oregon’s leading research and education event highlighting Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Support groups create a safe and supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships.
Free to the community, class topics include general information about Alzheimer's disease, legal and financial concerns, and communication and behavior.
Our early-stage programs seek to elevate the voice of those living with early-stage Alzheimer's to change public perceptions about who has the disease.
In 2017, the Oregon Legislature passed legislation, that requires enhanced dementia training standards for professional caregivers.
