A Virtual Education Series About Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia 

Norton Neuroscience Institute Memory Center and the Alzheimer’s Association are hosting an educational series on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. These classes are designed for patients and their caregivers to learn about these memory conditions. In addition, the Alzheimer’s Association will share more about its programs and services that provide information, education, support and guidance for every stage of the dementia journey. Classes will be led by Norton Neuroscience Institute memory care specialists trained in treating patients with dementia and memory loss. 

Understanding New Anti-Amyloid Treatments for Alzheimer's Disease

What is a Caregiver’s Risk of Developing Dementia?

- Presented by Jessica F. Cain, PA-C, Memory and Cognitive Disorders Physician Assistant                      
pugh.jpgJessica will explain the risks for developing dementia and how being a caregiver may impact those risks. In addition, the Alzheimer’s Association will present programs and services the organization offers to help with caregiver stress.

Breaking Down the Stages of Dementia: Early, Middle and Late Stages
- June 13, 2024 | 10 to 11:30am EST 
- Presented by Rachel N. Hart, D.O. Geriatric Medicine Specialist 
                   
cooper.jpgDr. Hart will describe the characteristics of each stage of dementia and offer tips for caregivers on how to prepare for the stages. In addition, the Alzheimer’s Association will provide information on support services that can help at each stage.
