Cynthia Moore-HardyCynthia Moore-Hardy, FACHE, has been a compassionate, dedicated caregiver and respected leader in the provision of patient and family centered healthcare services and information as president and chief executive officer of a health system in Northeast Ohio for nearly three decades, starting her career as a registered nurse. She has held state and regional leadership roles with the American Hospital Association’s regional policy board and the Ohio Hospital Association.

As a hands-on volunteer, her expertise is valued by proprietary and nonprofit organizations in Northeast Ohio and statewide. She currently serves on the board of Ursuline College; the Ohio Hospital Association’s Institute for Health Innovation; the board and its executive, finance and audit and governance committees of Holden Forests and Gardens. As a former board member of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, she currently serves on two vital food bank committees: operations and construction. She has been recognized by publications such as Crain Chicago's Business and Modern Healthcare and was inducted into the Northeast Ohio Business Hall of Fame. 

Moore-Hardy served on the Association's Cleveland Area chapter board from 2014 to 2023. She remains active on the chapter’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advisory committee. 

She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is also board certified and a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

Moore-Hardy was elected to the board of directors in 2023.
