    Michael Reich

    Michael ReichMichael Reich is the chief communications officer of the Alzheimer's Association, leading strategic initiatives that drive global conversations to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia and improve quality of life for all those facing the disease.

    In his role, Reich leads the Association's communications initiatives, including executive and strategic communications, external communications and media relations, public policy communications, internal communications and field communications support.

    Prior to joining the Alzheimer's Association, Reich was with the American Cancer Society (ACS) for nearly 17 years, where he began as a vice president for the Florida Division and rose to become senior vice president for communications and marketing for ACS' nationwide organization. In addition, Reich spent more than nine years in various marketing and communications roles at the University of South Florida and four years as a senior legislative aide in the Florida Senate.

    Reich holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana University, and he completed Harvard University's executive education program in crisis management.
