Katie EvansKatie Evans is the chief programs and mission engagement officer of the Alzheimer's Association. In this role, she provides strategic oversight of our care and support, health systems, public health and mission engagement initiatives to drive risk reduction and early detection and maximize quality care for our constituents.

Evans has more than 20 years of progressive nonprofit experience. In 2019, she joined the Association to lead the Corporate Initiatives team. She effectively guided that team to two record-breaking revenue years. In her previous role as chief mission engagement officer, she led the development and activation of more than 20 new offerings for our constituents. These offerings help us increase our reach and impact from new clinical tools, continuing education programs and a new dementia care navigation service. In her tenure with the Mission Engagement Division, Evans also oversaw evidenced-based and quality care programs, resulting in increased funding and stronger care and support programs and services for individuals, families and professional care providers.

Before joining the Association, Evans spent nearly 15 years at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in development roles with increasing responsibility.

She holds a master of arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Florida. She is currently finalizing a graduate certificate in public health, with an emphasis in community health management. Evans is also pursuing a masters in public health with a concentration on population health from the University of Florida.
