Kenann Cassidy is the Alzheimer’s Association chief field operations officer for chapters in the eastern United States, overseeing operations in eight regions comprising 24 states and Washington, D.C. A member of the executive team, Cassidy manages a field network of more than 600 chapter and regional staff. In this role, she leads chapter efforts to implement the Association's mission by accelerating research; enhancing care and support; advancing public policy; strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion; increasing concern and awareness; and growing revenue.
Cassidy has 30 years of experience in the voluntary health sector. Prior to joining the Association, she spent two decades with the American Cancer Society (ACS), Florida Division. She most recently served as the senior vice president of Operations, managing 250 staff focused on engaging corporate and distinguished partners, health care systems and communities in the ACS mission. Her previous positions at ACS included regional vice president and major gifts development officer.
Cassidy is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, which is an internationally recognized accreditation in the philanthropic field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social science from the University of South Florida.
