Kenann Cassidy is the Alzheimer’s Association area leader for Area East chapters, overseeing operations in eight regions and 24 states. A member of the executive team, Cassidy manages a nearly 800-person field network comprised of chapter and regional staff. She helps raise funds for research, programs and advocacy at the federal and local level which provide care and support to people living with Alzheimer’s and their families.

Cassidy has over 25 years of experience in the voluntary health sector. Prior to joining the Association, she spent two decades at the American Cancer Society (ACS), Florida Division. She most recently served as the senior vice president of Operations, managing 250 staff members focused on engaging corporate and distinguished partners, health care systems and communities in the ACS mission. Her previous positions there include regional vice president and major gifts development officer.
Cassidy is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, an internationally-recognized accreditation in the philanthropic field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social science from the University of South Florida.
