Michael ReichMichael Reich is chief marketing officer of the Alzheimer’s Association, leading strategic initiatives that drive global conversations to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia and improve quality of life for all those facing the disease.
In his role, Reich oversees organizational platforms including worldwide medical science marketing, public policy marketing and events branding. He leads the Association’s communications initiatives including publishing, branding, alz.org, social media, global media relations, celebrity engagement, advertising and internal communications.
Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, Reich was with the American Cancer Society for nearly 17 years, where he began as a vice president for the Florida Division and rose to become senior vice president for communications and marketing. He was responsible for advancing the organization’s strategy through a comprehensive communications and marketing program, including executive communications, media relations, internal communications, creative services, and enterprise risk management communications. In addition, Reich spent more than nine years in various marketing and communications roles at the University of South Florida and four years as a senior legislative aide in the Florida Senate.

Reich holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, and he completed Harvard University’s executive education program in crisis management.
